STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

General

The Biblical Counseling and Educational Center shall exist for the purpose of counseling and restoring Christians, evangelizing the lost and training both individuals and churches in the practice of Biblical Counseling.

Specific

Our purpose as a biblical Counseling center is to:

Counsel individuals and families using the Scripture as the sole and sufficient authority in all non-organic counseling issues.

Evangelize those who are without a saving knowledge of Christ.

Train believers in the ministry of biblical counseling.

Levels of Training
--To organize and develop levels of training for counselors, to assist them in further education and to encourage certification through the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC) or the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC).

Seminars
--To develop and establish seminars to educate the Christian community and general public on the use of the Scriptures as the sole and sufficient authority for counseling in all non-organic issues.
