The extent that BCEC can provide a Biblical alternative to secular counseling is dependent upon the gifts of those who have benefited from the ministry of BCEC and those who believe in Biblical counseling.Counseling is a ministry of the body of Christ. The Scriptures teach that the laborer is worthy of his hire and that the person who is taught the Word of God should share with the one who teaches the Word (1 Timothy 5:18; Galatians 6:6).
